Virginia Zuiker teaches courses on personal and family finance, family financial counseling, family resource management, economic perspectives of families, and family decision-making in the department of Family Social Science. She was the recipient of the College of Human Ecology New Career of Excellence award in 2000.

Stephanie Jakoblich, an Undergrad Family Social Science student, is the TA for this course. She is currently a senior and will graduate with a major in Family Social Science and a minor in Family Violence Prevention in the spring of 2006. In addition, she is planning to complete the requirements to become a Certified Family Life Educator. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, especially running and enjoying nature in the great outdoors.
Tara Modrack, recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Family Social Science.
Carolyn Bird, M. A., is currently a graduate student in the Family Social Science program. Prior to returning to graduate school she was program manager for the Department of the Navy's Quality of Life programs in Sasebo , Japan . While in graduate school her teaching activities include graduate statistics laboratory and undergraduate courses on family systems, diversity, and segments of personal finance and family resource management courses. She has served on several committees including international curriculum development, the graduate curriculum review, and staff search committees.
